Well, kind of.

Actually, I'm looking for something in particular. The something in particular I'm looking for is a website (or several) about M/s, preferably (but D/s is ok, too, I guess), that isn't all about how submission is a gift and all that mushy-mushy stuff. Also, I don't really want porn. I like thoughtful essays.

Why, yes, I am bored and looking for ways to waste time. How'd you guess? ;) Thanks in advance.

Decides to forgo the usual link to a can of spam.

I ALMOST posted that whoever did that first would get a spanking, but then I actually thought about it and realized that comment would just encourage you freaks. :p

While I am a freak I am sure there are several non freaks out there that are going to be reading this thread. I'm sure they find that highly offensive and would like an apology.

PSA...this month's freak meeting has been moved to the 23rd. I'm golfing in the Carolinas on our normal day.

My favorite site was submissivewomenspeak.net, but it's gone now. Does anyone know where to find Polly Peachum's essays?

Thank you. "Violence in the Garden" is one of my favorites. . . .

(Which search engine did you use to find these?)

Google. Though, to be frank, locating people and finding obscure info is part of my job, so I have sundry different techniques and methods for finding things. Half the time it is just a matter of knowing how to ask for what you want.

In this case, a search for "Polly Peachum" elicits more hits for the character from a particular play. Doing a search for Polly Peachum plus a couple of keywords (submissive and submission, in this case) brought me the sort of hits I was looking for. Most were referential hits, but gave me the titles to a couple of her essays. Searching for the specific titles got me the essays that I linked.

If you have some time, go here: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://submissivewomenspeak.net/

This is a web-based archive of that site. Not sure how much of what you're looking for will be found there, but it is better than nothing.

I  the internet, Google, and the Internet Archive.

ETA: I started poking around that site. Wow, there are some fantastic articles there. It's a shame that it is no longer active.

I don't have a lot of websites like that, but I have a bunch you can go to and waste time at when you're bored.

PM me if you'd like them. Some of the sites are fun and interesting. ^_^

Thanks very much for the response, y'all. I'll have plenty to do for the rest of the night. ;) I really appreciate it.
