And it's true about his style being more of a jester, but I'm thinking more along the lines of physical appearance. But at least it's better then having the hots for Pennywise from It. *shudders*

the joker is overhyped, waaaaaay overhyped, i mean, the dead guy did a good preformance, but it wasnt that good, now harvey/two face, that was a show to admire

I loved Heath's take on The Joker, but I felt Harvey Dent/Two Face was ultimately the more interesting and engaging performance in the Dark Knight. Just don't tell the rabid fanboys that, or they'll compare you to Hitler on the interwebs.

Ohhh Joker's different.
Joker does NOT send off my "CLOWN!!! RUNN!!! KILLIT!!" reaction.

With him its more... "JOKER!! SNOO-SNOO!!!"

Though the Joker I will always love is the Mark Harmill-voiced animated version of B:tAS.
He's my friggin' ringtone; laughing maniacly.

BAH! I love the Joker! He is best on my list no matter what! D: I will always love the Joker more than any other villain out there! ...And I love a lot of villains. >> I rarely go for the heroes.
Heath brought out more of the real deal. I loved it! But my favorite Joker is always in the comics.
I love that homicidal psychopath.
And I love Harley Quinn...

Heath's was... okay.

He really nailed aspects of the Joker, but there were parts where he could have done better, I suppose.

Granted, with someone who has as many different 'official' versions and takes in the comics, it's sorta hard to pinpoint one single written source in order to say "that's Joker". But most people seem to consider The Killing Joke to be the definitive Joker story, and I liked Dark Knight's version of the "multiple origins" background; where he either honestly can't remember or constantly lies about the trauma in his past.

Either way, Mark Hamill's easily my favorite Joker of all time. Nobody hits that laugh like he does. Nobody!

And all of this talk about villains makes me wanna start that villain thread already. Despite the lack of Harley Quinn's for everyone to fight over.

Well, since the villain thread is becoming more and more likely, I should get my gal ready.


Name: Jane Doe (Really. It is. DON'T QUESTION HER!)
Aka: Discord
Appearance: That pic I drew. Better one coming soon.
Height: 5 ft 7

Parents: Doesn't remember, doesn't care.

Powers: It's not so much Discord who has powers, but her cane. Her cane is the source of everything for her, a gift from a demon that Discord impressed with her anger. Her cane allows her to change others' perception of reality, whether its making things gloriously beautiful, or a sight straight out of hell. To achieve this, however, she needs to have some type of physical contact with her 'victim', if only for a moment. Without her cane, the only major thing Discord can accomplish is hand-to-hand combat... and don't think she's weak when it comes to that!

History: Discord never knew her family. In fact, she can't remember too much of her past other than the last 5 years... Meeting the demon who found her infuriated outbursts so amusing, the gifts he imparted on her, and meeting the Queen. Ever since then, she has been dubbed one of the unofficial Jesters of the Queen's Court... though sometimes its a title she's not very appreciative of. The demon occasionally returns to pay her a visit, deeming her a child of his creation with all he's given her, though with the rather demeaning reverse praising/insults he gives her, she has a rather strong HATE/love relationship with him.

Personality: Bipolar as hell. One minute she can be as happy as can be... until someone does something to upset her. Woe betide those who upset her, as they get the brunt of her fury, followed by anyone else in her path. Her idea of fun is quite different than most people's, thanks to the cane causing her to lose more of her sanity than she was already lacking... Destruction, chaos, and utter confusion are absolutely hysterical to her.

Sexuality: Flirts with damn near anything.

Hobbies and Interests: Dancing, causing chaos, small animals (She likes to try and eat them), nursery rhymes that she works into new verses.

Dislikes: waking up early, people who ruin her fun, dogs.
