Finally, a Democrat I could vote for!

You're just happy `cause she'll let you shoot off a gun every once in awhile, so you can remind yourself that you're a man.

Reminds me that I am free, I have my girlfriend to remind me how great it is to be a man, but you would not know about that.

`Cause, without her, you'd be the weakling IRL that you are here on the GB?

She is a a representative of the voters, not some tax cheating never had a real job Kennedy. I applaud this nomination and if there were more like her I will become a Democrat again.

Single issue voters are idiots. It's not surprising to me that you would look at a Democrat favorably just because of their position on guns.

You becoming a Democrat "again" would mean a fundamental shift in the cosmos. The odds of you doubling your IQ at this point are slightly better than the odds that hell will freeze over in the next 20 minutes.

More likely is that you would become a Le Jackass style conservative turned liberal. Long on opinion, short on facts or the ability to convey them without making yourself look like an asshole even to those who would normally be your allies.

Another person who needs a life. If you are so smart, how come you are working in some cheap hotel and cannot even afford two cars?

You noticed that he didn't challenge me on that accusation, huh?

Commonsensefreeman.

If I jerked off to all your grammatical errors, I'd have to put my wrist in a brace.

And if I spent as much time here as you do, I would have no real life and be such a pussy and a loser that I would care about spelling and grammar on a porn board.

Oh you just know ALL about me don't you CommonSemenStain?

It's not a "cheap hotel", it's a resort hotel and convention center. If you wanted to be insulting you would have said Motel..

I can afford two cars, I just don't NEED two cars. I have a car, and my new motorcycle. Any other misunderstandings you need an adult to clear up for you?

Now about that single issue voter idiocy of yours.

Ah, the dismissive "porn board" stuff. This is what you and a few other GBers (e.g. mansome) pull out of your hats when you're feeling threatened.

Better go shoot off some rounds, or get in some cuddling.

He also didn't try to challenge my assertion that his IQ is about half what the typical liberal would be expected to have.

So much for his dreams of being a Democrat again.

No, its because she's done more at 42 years old then you will ever do. You're working in a "Resort" reserving lounge chairs for guests, she's a lawyer, a mother of two, a two year congresswoman. Now senator. Thats pretty darn good.

There are plenty of democrats that have no problem with guns. Just look at almost any dem in the western states excluding Cali and maybe Oregon/Washington. Plenty of democrats in southern states don't have a problem with guns either.

I am not a democrat but again I have no problem with guns. Do I think you should have the right to go by any type of full auto firearm you want at any time? No, I think that is a bad idea and stupid. Oh and I agree with UA, not that often because he is a little to left leaning nutty for me a lot of times, in that single issue voters are stupid.

Move outside your box and take a look at the entire candidate don't just pigeonhole someone because of their stance on one issue. The worst thing is that many candidates get pigeonholed by single issue voters on both the left and the right because the candidate actually has a nuanced stance on an issue. These big issues, gun control and abortion for the most part but there are of course others, are much more complicated then YES or NO, FOR or AGAINST.

Actually, I'm supervising the power plant operations staff for the resort and working on a degree at present. I think we have lounge chairs here somewhere. I'll check with the Pools supervisor next time I see him.

I never said anything about her qualifications or any supposed lack thereof, just commonfreeman's (Did you change accounts and post under the wrong name?) rationale for considering her. I never spoke badly about her at all, just single issue voters. I said they are idiots, which is true. It seems you took personal offense at that, judging from your other post in this thread I can see why.

Hell I have a Concealed Weapons permit and own several weapons. It's not a "right" only issue, but it's not what I base a majority of my political decisions on.

The overall picture is much more important than any single issue.

Perhaps I was too harsh, but I'm also not a ' single issue voter' . I think she has done a lot and is qualified for the position. I'm just glad Keneddy didnt make the cut.

Of course it is and I agree with you on that. I had a Concealed Carry permit in VA but I haven't bothered to take the course in CT since I have been up here. I never really bothered to carry when I lived in VA anyway I just liked shooting and it was a course offered at the range.

Personally I didn't care either way. I do think that Caroline Kennedy was subjected to a lot of intense scrutiny and much ado was made over little. There are many other Senators with little to no experience and several that have had their share of tax issues on both sides of the aisle.

But then, she would represent New York State. Being from Florida it's not really my concern.

I just hope that Palin feels good now that Kennedy got raked over the coals nearly as bad as she was. I know that was a concern of hers with the class warfare and the double standards and the main stream media and uhh yeah don't you know *WINK*
