I see Laurel's put up the schedule for next year's contests, and there's a new one - between Nude Day and Halloween.

"Summer Lovin'" - Another northern hemispheric centric theme  :D

I hear she was going to go for an eastern hemispheric theme, but that would have just inundated the Interracial category. :p

Seriously, I think it's cool. Or hot ;) Six contests this year instead of five.

Six chances to see the petulant whining and sour grapes threads . . . .

Just think of it as a tribute to "Grease".

There's summer loving in the Antipodes too.

I remember it well.

Just write it now and submit it then. :D

hahaha maybe you should do a comedy about a vineyard whose grapes turn sour

:D

Plot Bunny!

"She slipped a pair of grapes into her mouth, rolling them around her tongue, between her teeth. She savored the weight and smoothness of them, thinking they reminded her of her lover's testicles.

Then she bit into them, to find they were sour . . . ."

The grapes or the testicles?

"But as to the fable that there are Antipodes, that is to say, men on the opposite side of the earth, where the sun rises when it sets to us, men who walk with their feet opposite ours, that is on no ground credible." - St. Augustine of Hippo

So, obviously.

"Summer Lovin" or "Summer Love in"

Either way Ideas abound.

O'boy...another story contest. :D

Now our resident writerly curmudgeons, whiners and conspiracy theorists will have even more grist for their mills. ;)

Yeah, you know who you are. :p

Don't take it personally... hippos have always been flat-Earthers.

Let me be the first to complain. I would have preferred "Summer Luncheon", but that's just me being hungry. Time to throw something in the microwave.

Yanno, I may just go with Summer Luncheon! Thin frocks, cold fruit salads, hot looks, bare feet . . . hot--chachacha!
