Tee Eee Eee En, Tee Eye Tee, Aay En Ess, Teen Ti-Tans, Let's go!

Well, here we go again, another Teen Titans thread by me, lol. I'm using Teen instead of Team this time, but that doesn't mean every member has to be a teenager.

The plot idea is that new villains have been popping up all over New York City, and while Nightwing (after leaving behind the Robin suit and moving to NYC) was interrogating one of them, he discovered the existence of a secret school for training new villains. His captive managed to escape before he could get any more answers, so Nightwing gathered together all the heroes of New York that he knew he could trust, and thus they formed the Teen Titans and began working together to find out more about this academy.

They set up their headquarters in an old firehouse, and after six months of searching, they discovered the location of the Hive Academy. The game will start directly before the raid on the academy. There, they will discover a master thief and tech whiz named Headmaster Slade Wilson, who is secretly working for an organization that has infiltrated even the US Government. After this encounter, Slade goes insane and becomes Deathstroke.

Below is a list of charactes already taken, followed by who has claimed them. My character bios will be along tomorrow.

Nightwing (Dick Grayson): Me
Cyborg: Me
Beast Boy: Remec
Terra: Shukaku
Starfire: TearsoftheWorld
Supergirl: TearsoftheWorld
Raven: Kiwikitty
Jinx: Kiwikitty
Deathstroke: Me
Robin (Tim Drake): Sean Renaud
Superboy: Me

Did I forget anybody? Anyone else care to join? We'll only be accepting a few more players.

Umm... dude. Where you on a coffee high or something? Like, six NO SENSE POSTS?

So does that mean that I can post random videos of me dressed up like Starfire doing a strip tease?

Hmmm. Well, this isn't really a timeline so to speak, but anyway, here it is:

Metahumans have been around for centuries, and those foolish enough to be discovered were usually burned or hanged as witches. They remained largely hidden until the late 1930's/ early 1940s. With the emergence of World War II, many Metahumans took sides, some aligning with the Allied Powers, and some with the Axis Powers.

After the war was won, many Metahumans donned various costumes and began fighting crime. At first they were shunned and considered vigilantes, but soon the various police forces saw the benefit of having superheroes. So long as a superhero acted with honor and dignity, they were accepted. The masked heroes who hid in the shadows weren't accepted for many years to come.

In the mid 1950s, several heroes came together to form the Justice Society of America. However, after a few years, they had their differences and parted ways. Nearly half a century later, in 2004, Superman united several heroes together as the Justice League of America. In the six years since, many heroes have joined, pushing the roster to over thirty.

Our story takes place in June 2010.

.... wow. That works, I guess. o_o So, in other words, Starfire won't wear a skirt, she'll have a thong on and Terra will wear daisy dukes. Yeah, that's about right. xD

That was just a brief history of the DC Jeffverse. For the sake of people's backgrounds, you know? I also included the date the JLA formed. On occasion, the Titans could call out to the Justice League for back up or something.

Alright, so that's our timeline. What do you have in mind for the beginning? Like, where are you going to start us off?

Not sure if it would ever crop up in a TT storyline, but was the JSA in the Jeffverse forced to go into selfimposed retirement due to anticommunist hysteria like the mainline DC one was?

Also, who were the founding JLA members in your world? (I ask since they have retconned it multiple times.)

I was just going to leave that open. Superman most likely gathered Flash, Green Latern, Wonder Woman, Batman, Martian Manhunter, Aquaman, and Green Arrow or something. And no, the JLA hasn't broken up. Yet.

If you've got room for a Tim Drake/Robin or Speedy or Static Shock (of the DCAU) I'd like to get involved in an RP that makes it past say two pages.

Haha. We always make it past 2 pages. :3 I don't have any say so over who joins, but it'd be nice to have another player. *nudges the man in charge*

Sure, you can play any of those. Since Dick Grayson is now Nightwing, I guess Robin III could be there too, hehe. When Bruce Wayne's back was broken, Grayson temporarily became Batman and he worked very well with Drake. Grayson was the original Robin, and after he became Nightwing, Jason Todd became Robin II. Then some time after Todd was shot and killed by Joker, Tim Drake became Robin III. At least, that's how it was in the comics. I'm pretty flexible as to this game. Just tell me your ideas and we'll see what we can do.

I was basically going to go with the Robin III identity though he may as well be R2 for all of the acknowledgment that Jason Todd gets most of the time. I mean we are on Batgirl III (or is it IV? I know Helena whatever aka Huntress was BG2 for a while and then that new chick showed not that it matters. I was more pointing out that once you escape comic geekdom nobody has a clue that Barbara Gorden is Oracle. Anyway on subject.

Young Robin (18 obviously) and I've got him largely based off of his apperaance and personality in The Batman more so than Teen Titans, other than the detective skills since that really is a core trait for Tim. I mean Bats has said on occasion that Tim will ultimately surpass him in that department so it would be a shame to toss that out the window. Origin story stick with the standard of he deduced the identities of Batman and his closest friends and basically told Batman he was going to be Robin wether he liked it or not. Granted thats a huge over simplification. Right now hes away from Batman for soul searching reasons, being around Bruce for too long drives everybody well batty.

I'm going to have Grayson be 19, but I'll say he left behind the Robin suit and became Nightwing at age 16.

Sounds cool to me. And I'll have Tim freshly turned 18, even more reason for him to head out on his own for the first time.
