Yesterday it was reading 88° at noon. Last night it was 78° when I went to bed at 2230. This morning though it was 63° when I got up at 0500. We had a cold front come through last night and this morning.

Today we had a high temperature of 73°. Right now it is down to 57° and is supposed to get down to around 50° b the time I get up at 0500 tomorrow morning. What a difference.

Winter might actually be here.

Now I'm truly hoping I get the bike fixed during the coming week so I can enjoy this cool weather in the proper way. Nothing makes a great ride like nice cool temps where you aren't roasting inside your leathers worrying about things like Heat Stroke.

Oh and these temps are supposed to stay with us at least through next wekend. I have even broken out a couple of heaters for the evenings.

I don't get it either and I gather we are on opposite end of the country. Day time is in the low 90's and in the mid 50's at night. I'm so damn confused I've been running around in a parka and shorts!

I'll take any of that. :)

We had snow flurries and I don't want them this winter.

Poor Mistress Lynn is freezing her lucious fanny, the Seacat is trying to get his bike fixed to enjoy the weather, the Fox is confused and I'm loving the warm clear weather we're have in La La Land at the moment.

We need some rain though. it's so dry here we're squeezing popcorn farts to try to save the shad.

It was 72 yesterday and only about 50 this morning.

But that's a normal summer day in northern Nevada.

Hey, it got down to 55 degrees last night! I even had to get up and close the window and *gasp* actually considered putting another blanket on the bed!!!

I fear for yuo when the winter really hit in the southland Fox.

Who knows what will happen to you when the temp gets down to the, Brrr,40's?

*Sigh* :( You lucky, lucky bastard.

81 degrees here. Rest of the week expected to be...yes, say it with me: "Warm and dry!" :p

Sure, you have avocado and lemon trees in the back yard. But do you have seasons...
California seasons are very distinct! We have drought season which starts sometimes in May, Fire season (we're in that now), flood season (a rarity of late) which is followed by either mudslide season or earthquake season.

Fire season is the most impressive. The hills all aglow in oranges, reds and yellows...

I'd love to feel sorry for you, but it's only 41 degrees here right now. And, that's several degrees higher that the forecast high.

I'd love to feel sorry for you too, but it's 40 degrees F outside, and *sigh* raining again. It might go below freezing tonight.
