I've never started a candle thread before. I don't know if it is appropriate either, and I don't want to give details that aren't mine to give, but I feel like I have to do something. Safe_Bet could really use some good thoughts right now.

I haven't heard anything from either of them since yesterday, but Amy said they were back home, and that Sue is physically okay except for a bit of pain. She's obviously devastated though, and Amy is very afraid that she'll withdraw and become very depressed.

Susan and I were just writing back and forth the other day, Thursday, I think. She was excited about the twins. I told her about my identical twin girls. She wrote to me asking if I'd be interested in writing a book with her. She said that she was bed ridden for the next several months.

I just received an email from Sue.

She says hi, and that she appreciates all the concern, and the emails she has received. She doesn't feel up to answering them just yet, but promises to do so eventually. She seems to be in a really bad place right now. Her email got me pretty worried and teary. Please keep the good thoughts going.

To those who PM'd me and asked me to pass on your messages, I did so. Anyone else who wants me to pass on a message, PM me and I will.

I also sent her a link to the candles themselves, so she can look at them if she feels like it. Remember they will go out after 48 hours, so I will try to keep this thread bumped if you want to re-light them.
