Windflower, a puma's another name for a mountain lion or a cougar or whatever you wanna call it. I stick with "puma" 'cause "mountain lion" is kind of long and unwieldy and "cougar" has already been adopted as a term for older women who pursue younger men. Though I DO see myself as a cougar in that sense when I get older.

From experience, both personal and through the experience of some very close friends, I'd have to say it's the wanna be Dom that damages a sub to the point he/she feels they cannot continue. Players generally 'out' themselves early in a relationship and cause little to no lasting hurt. Those that proclaim themselves subbies then throw temper tantrums when they don't get their way are usually seen as pathetic children by those that truly understand, and the public comments of those types, while hurtful, don't do lasting harm when viewed as nothing more than the tantrum that it is. But a wanna be Dom, someone who so pushes a sub that she is damaged deep, in her sub's heart - that is the worst kind of cruelty. Have I said too much here?

I don't believe you can give your heart so "deeply" and not know you are taking the risk of it being trampled unless you are a child or childlike. And yes i think the subs do more harm then a wannabe dom. From what i see they are out for blood and to make the dominant look a fool when in at least some cases we know differently. I also believe that they come to bdsm forums because they cant succeed in a relationship in the real world, bdsm or nilla,and build up one in their head here that is not really all they are saying it is... and to me that is all just plain ol mental illness.
