He's a good speech maker. He should be running a PR firm versus the country or luring mocking birds from their nests.

If he screws up, the mid-term elections will force him to the center.

How does that impact on her inability to complete a thought?

I wasn't commenting on that so much as I was commenting on the fact that Senator Obama started running for POTUS not all that long after he was sworn into office. HRC, whom I consider a carpet bagger, at least completed her first term before running. The word "opportunist" comes to mind.

By the way.. shouldn't those two resign? And don't you find it odd that Biden was running for TWO seats at the same time. Guess it goes to show how much faith he had in winning VPOTUS.

Office of the President-Elect? Good grief.. pretenious s.o.b - I never heard of anyone occupying that office before much less that it was an office.. Will he make the state of the union in a toga with a crimson stripe and a crown made of fig leaves?

First press conference and the only thing of substance he would comment on was on the First Dog? Who gives a shit? I'm more worried about the fact that my tax dollars being used for paving streets in Kenya or somebody's aunt circumventing immigration control.

Aw, poor wittle Republicans. Yes, fuck Obama and his ambition, and getting to work when this country needs it! What a jerk. Totally hate that guy.

Now that's crazy talk.

It's freezing in DC in January.

When Tom Brokaw admits on the Charlie Rose show "that we don't even know this guy" then it is a sign that he might have run after the rest of the US (not just Illinois) could get a feel for the guy as a person versus his rhetoric.

How about this? All politicians should resign their present post immediately when they run for an office other than the one they currently hold?

Well unless he suddenly decides to "go green" between the 20th and the 29 (I may be wrong on the date of the State of the Union), I'm sure the limo will have a working heater and I do think they have some way of heating the House.
:p

This is called "risk assessment". You evaluate all possibilities and prepare for them. I know, this is something new for Reps.

Apparently the rest of the U.S. didn't really share your sentiment.

Why should a pol resign before serving out their term? Honestly, sour grapes, dahling.

Welcome to my world for the past 8 years. Sucks, don't it?
