Daniellekitten's "Sanctuary" disappeared!

So, I was loving Sanctuary. I came back to reread the chapters and they're gone! I sent a message to Danielle who said that they were removed with no notice and no explanation. Why would that happen? Laurel and Manu, what's going on? The chapters were all approved and were up for several days. Why take them down now?

At one point she removed all of her stories from here herself. This isn't one of those?

Or perhaps is this a for-fee published novel that the publisher insisted be pulled from a free Web site?

Hmm... Her blog over at the other site says that she had no idea why it was pulled. Looks like she's not going to bother re-upping it here, either.

Just have to use the magic of google if you don't know the other site she posts at, and read it there, it seems.

I read it on the other site as well, but I prefer the community feel of Lit. It's just strange that they would pull it without mentioning it to her.

I thought I was going nuts!

I was following this story - and enjoying it -- as it came up on "New" stories. When I went looking for updates last week, I couldn't find it, despite all attempts to search for it -- compounded by my lack of recall of the characters' names. All I could remember was "Sanctuary", & nada.

I must have spent an hour doing all manner of searches. Glad you posted this so I can finally rest! ;-)
