What do I do if I might have eaten some food that was contaminated by fruit flies? I can't find any info and I'm kind of freaking out.

I start munching on some tatter-tots my room mate had and when she walks by she says, oh I left those out last night. Now I don't mind cold tots I do mind the fruit flies around the apartment that might have been attracted to them.

Any suggestions?
