I lived in Lancaster for 11 years, so I know exactly what you mean. There's some awesome stuff in the area, but it's definitely not New York or Philly. At least they're within driving distance, though.

Yeah, lived around that area for a bit myself too, before running to the West Coast not too long ago. There's definitely some cool clubs out and about, sometimes you just need to find them. There's actually a great little punk bar that I used to love, that moved its' way to York. If you need any suggestions, feel free to let me know, maybe I can try and hook you up with something other than Barn Raising and Butter Churning... although Butter Churning... highly underrated.
