Synthetic underwear

I just bought a pair of new synthetic underwear that is very lightweight and looks great under the clothes.

The thing is, I can't stand the after effects. I mean, it all gets kind of...overripe.

Will I be mrs cotton underwear for life? Any thoughts?

I won't wear anything for any length of time unless it's cotton. Much better for your body, since it doesn't trap any moisture next to your skin.

Well, you could always try commando . . .

That can also cause UTIs. So if you're prone to those, don't wear synthetic. I found that out the hard way.

Do that all the time  I never go biking with underwear anymore. That is why them sport clothes come with double sheeting...

At work I get afraid though... what if I had any... thoughts?

You run like hell to the bathroom and put on a light day pad or use a tampon. I haven't worn drawers for years!

I generally only wear synthetics when I know they'll be removed soon. Otherwise it has to be at least a cotton blend. I've found Target has some pretty nice seamless panties in cotton.

You'll have some specific fetishists chasing you.

Some people prefer ...overripe.

Your post is probably causing someone to get all hot and sweaty thinking about you getting all hot and sweaty.

My advice - stick to comfortable. You'll feel better and will be just as desirable except to sweaty fetishists.

Make sure that you use the French pronunciation when buying underthings there: "Tarz-shay"

Of course you calso can try: "Jacque Pen-nays" too!

Poly is popular for insulating undergarments among outdoorsmen and Alpinists for it's hydrophobic properties, but infamous for it's propensity to absorb and somehow amplify body ordure to levels one can eventually no longer pretend not to notice.

This may be due to it's very hydrophobic properties, as this would theoretically allow oils to accumulate undiluted.

Pair of underwear is or pair of underwear are?

You would twist this into a writing thread, you sick, sick doctor. As far as I've read, when the word pair describes a single object, it is treated as singular (this pair of underwear is optional); when treated as plural, you match the number (the pair of writers are, without a doubt, sick).

Happy? Now, go back to writing your delicious mind-jobs. :D

Correction: According to CMS, pair is always a single form "despite the inherent sense of twoness," and as much as I'd like to argue with them over the plural example I gave, I cannot. The plural of the word is pairs, of course (as in three pairs of panties, all damp).

I'm very fond of silk myself.

I'll have to research, there are hydrophilic synthetics, which if my hypothesis is correct, should be less prone to retaining odors.

The stretchier ones are really sheer, clingy, and sexy.

It's actually the original technical textile: it's and excellent insulator but highly breathable, so it's warm when it's cool and cool when it's hot, and dries quickly.
