By following outdated policies that have no basis in the current economic situation. Mccain has admitted, on record, that the economy is not his strong suit...

He wants to put a freeze on all government spending... That means: No new hiring, no infasctructure building, no progress, while he "sorts things out". This coming from a man who can't run a campaign and deal with a bailout package that he supported, but now he doesn't... That he would have vetoed as president, but that he voted for as senator.
