Yes, and he says so in the second para, and that he realised he couldn't continue that way.Except that when he was making money . . . wasn't he being a heartless scum? I'm not up on this, all my investments being in annuities, the safe kind, but I kinda wonder.

Wish I'd thought of that! I was, in many ways, an asshole as a young adult-- but not in any way that was so lucrative.![]()
I love what I do, and I doubt I'll ever see my first million.I hate what I do and will get out after I make my ninth million.

Those were the years when you couldn't take two steps without tripping over a new millionaire...The interesting thing is that my step-father-in-law offered to get me a job in a Wall Street brokerage when I got out of the Army. The only catch was that I'd have to relocate to San Diego. Now I like San Diego but I wasn't too hot on being right next to him. Besides, I'd already bought a house up thisaway across the street from my parents so it didn't happen. What would have happened if I'd done it? Who knows but I've always been a fan of Warren Buffet's approach to investing . . .
I'm studying to be a famous serial killer. After I'm famous and on the Oprah Show maybe I'll retire.
