Now that Dubya's had his way with you, and youre as fucked as its possible to be, do you feel the need for a hot bath?

James your silly there are levels of fucked Bush can't even imagine.

For one thing, we are not in a world war so can't be that bad. We are not being rounded up and put into re-education camps, or concentration camps, that one is reserved for the so called terrorists.

No seriously, would you beleive the guy who drove around Saddam was considered a terrorist? Granted he may have done other things but the news called him a chaffeur, what the heck is that, he drove place to place and got paid. Next up taxi drivers I guess.

The economy could be tons worse. Can't blame that on him, granted he should of done a few things like restrictions on banking and such but he shouldn't need to. I mean when all is said and done, the banking crisis the banks are facing is because of them and being stupid. Restrictions should not be needed if the banks had utilized some basic simple principles, namely, checking income versus cost of the repayment. If they can afford it they get it, if they can't they don't, wasn't done. Can't blame that on Bush. The stock market is following basic laws of supply and demand, little demand lots of supply creates problems. There would be demand if the banks had a clue. Can't blame that on Bush either.

Alot of what is wrong with america right now, is not because of Bush, it is because banks got stupid, and because bush is religious and against homosexuals so the fruitloops are trying to get the anti homosexual crap onto the books.

EMAP

When we last had this discussion the DOW was over 10K and FORD wasnt selling for 2 bucks a share.

I predicted a floor of 8500. Well, I'm a wild-eyed optimist. DOW could be in the 7000s tomorrow.

No. A lot of what is wrong with America is bigoted assholes that don't grasp the pledge of Allegiance. Especially the part about "liberty and justice for all".

Vote NO on Prop 8

Give it time.

Perhaps on a world war, though I doubt it, all those nuclear weapons put a big old damper on doing that. Nobody wants to be hosting the latest Hiroshima.

Your Prop 8 is different from the one we are getting here, if we are, I don't know no commercials about it. Though we got apparently a really stupid one, prop 105 in Arizona apparently is letting non voters do something or other, I assume sign petitions. Confusing since the commercial for it says something about if it passes your vote won't count anymore. No clue how that would work.

james your silly again, you gotta know there is a safeguard on the stock market, it falls to far they shut it down and do something or other so it won't do that again. I have no idea what besides shutting it down, but they must have something they can do. Banks are being saved by congress as we speak, unless the CEO's spend it all on parties. I assume you heard about that, apparently right after the bailout was approved a bank CEO or all of them had a big lavish party that was like $500000 worth.

Which makes no sense, we can't stay open but we can afford a big lavish party.

...Your Prop 8 is different from the one we are getting here, if we are, I don't know no commercials about it....

Just as an FYI, California's (sic) "Proposition 8 is an initiative measure on the 2008 California General Election ballot titled Eliminates Right of Same-Sex Couples to Marry.[1][2] If passed, the proposition would change the California Constitution to eliminate the right of same-sex couples to marry in California[3]. A new section would be added stating "only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California." As quoted from Wikipedia.

In other words it is an attempt to take away legal rights from gays and lesbians that other people in California enjoy. It is purely and simply the religious rights attempt to implement new "Jim Crow" laws.

Vote NO on California Prop 8
