Patreon Link



I was hoping that someone here could do me a tremendous favor and help me with the exact formatting necessary to create a link to my Patreon in the “Support Author On:” section.



I'm a bit of a dullard, so if you could simplify it as much as possible, it would be a big help. I'm not even sure where to edit that field.

The key points are as follows:

1. You can add the link in Control Panel > Options > My Options tab.
2. When pasting your Patreon link, you'll need your unique user number. You can find your Patreon user number in your Patreon dashboard by looking at your Embed Widget.

Hope this is helpful. I've never done anything like this myself, so if you need any troubleshooting help, it'll have to come from someone else in the AH or from Manu directly. Good luck!

I'm sure Patreon is pretty much like Medium, Stacked, and other such sites. You need to post something daily, and few want to read more than two minutes on anything. I wish you luck on Patreon.

Dunno Medium or Stacked, but Patreon I've seen used successfully for prepub access - sign on for $x and get N chapters before they're publically available, or access to content that's similar to what they're known for but not publicly available for whatever reason. Sidestories, interlewds, out-of-character Q&A with characters, etc.
