No, not any of the other ones, just THIS SPECIFIC BEATING. OK, before i became a wife the 2nd time, i thought i was a switch FOR REAL, so, i put a personals ad out that said i was a switch. Now the ad did not get posted that way; at first i said i was a sub. But the more i thought about it, the more i thought i was a switch. Well, i started doing an email exchange with this Mistress, and all of sudden, right after i got her first email, the next day i had these 8 emails from male Doms, and i was like oh no, what if She makes me show Her my email account, so i went and changed my ad to say i was a switch, not necessarily because i was convinced that i was one, even though i did think i was one, so i thought that i was being more accurate, but to stop all that male Dom traffic to my email account. Well, the Mistress called me at work and told me that i was being ordered to take the ad down because i did not need it anymore. Well, i became Her bride about three months later, and everything was fine, when one morning about three weeks later, like at about 6 in the morning, on a weekend, She woke me up and told me to go get my cuffs and Her locks. So, i did, returned to Her, and gave Her my cuffs and Her locks (she had like 100 locks, all keyed differently).

She made me stick my arms out, and She put my wrist cuffs on me, and locked them on me, and then locked my wrists together. Then, She put my leg cuffs on me, and locked them on me, and locked my ankles together. Then, She told me to go get Her canes. So, i brought all 23 of Her canes back to Her and She told me to go and get a chair and bring it back to Her. So, i went and got a chair and brought it back to Her, and She told me to bend over the chair. i did as i was told and She said, "I looked at your ad for 16 days, and it said that you were a sub, but then on the 17th day, you said you were a switch." i said, "maybe i am a switch". She just started laughing real loud, and then She said, "I am going to give you 17 strokes for saying you are a switch." i tried to explain that i was not really saying i was, that i had done that to eliminate male Dom traffic, but She was not accepting that answer. So, did i deserve that specific beating?

Actually, no.. Gracie doesn't usually bother with this kind of newbie thing.

On a good day gracie can log on and make a few comments and when she does, I listen.

So 4 months later you get a beating because you changed the wording in your ad?

I don't have a lot of experience in this, but it's kind of like disciplining a child (pet) for something they did HOURS later. They can't (don't) make the connection between the punishment and the act that got them punished in the first place.

I think that many rewards and punishments given out to subs are a bit arbitrary, or based on sort of weak pretexts. Example: I read a post recently in which a sub said that she fantasized about being punished by being gangbanged by a bunch of strangers. She wants it, but she's calling it a punishment! I call that a major reward, and have given those out as such. I even gave out a caning as a reward one time. Context is everything, as far as I'm concerned. But that's just me.

Every PYL is going to have a personal style, and whether you like that style is going to have a lot to do with how much you get out of the relationship. Maybe that punishment was late. Maybe she was simply in the mood to leave a few marks on your backside. Who knows? Either you like it overall, or you don't, but, short of abuse, I don't tend to criticize other BDSMer's actions. Right and wrong can be murky, and it's not a science, it's an art.

I have almost commented on this thread many times, but each time deleted the post before submitting it.

But this time I am going to post my comments, because I am working on the theory that either the OP is genuine and is seeking advice (merely mixing up events, such as having their ankles locked together before walking to get the canes as mentioned above) or that they are writing a sample of a story they intend to write/submit.

If it is a sample of a story they are considering writing then I suggest that you reconsider the plot line. Also take care to remember the situation the character is in before writing them performing impossible tasks. Also I suggest that you keep things credible. My Master has many padlocks, but even he cannot claim to have 100. I actually checked just now and he has 9 padlocks of one size and four each of two other sizes. Not anywhere near as impressive as 100 but he seems to manage well with them.

If this is a genuine request for opinions/support I suggest you speak to your Mistress.

Yes. i did get her canes after my ankles and wrists were secured to one another, and i had to go from the 2nd floor to the basement to get them, and then come back up the stairs.

and She was not happy that i had changed the post, She said it is not good to mislead people and that i was not a switch and i accepted that.
