Erotic math haiku!

It's cute. Technically, it's not haiku, but it's cute.

Most of literotica's haiku isn't technically haiku.

Very true. For that matter, most of the haiku ever written by non-Japanese people isn't technically haiku and probably a fair bit of that written by Japanese people, too.

Yes, like that.

Don't mind me. I'm in a horrible mood. During the night, I was forced to leave my house with my daughter since the neighbors decided to do some late night fumigating... without telling me. Our houses are attached, and my house promptly filled with noxious fumes. I had to wake up my parents and sleep at their house. Good times.

Oh Sweetie! When do you get to go back?

I'm back home now. I came back home right after dropping my daughter off at school. The stench is still nauseating (literally, due to my reflux), but I have a deadline today and an assignment due. Some mild poisoning is worth being able to sit in my bedroom and smoke cigarettes as I write my articles and assignment. Just picture me like this: :D

Erotic math haiku, eh?

Spiffy.

Maybe we should start a thread for combinatory poetry.

We did have a boob-ku challenge in 2002. And I know we invented a form called "ho-ku," but I can't find the thread for that one. Can't think of any combined form challenges though, but I think the "Bob" probably combined rules from a few forms. :)

Coincidentally, ho-ku is a particularly appropriate choice in portmanteaux.

Actually, a portmanteaux challenge would be pretty interesting. We've never done one, and we have some inventive poets here.

That would be an interesting challenge; I, for one, appreciate a mellifluous portmanteau.

There's certainly a range of them, probably lots of mellifluous examples, although the two that are coming to my mind right off are "slithy" and "Billary." The latter, at least, is pedestrian although someone with a good sense of humor could make a funny, timely poem by riffing on it. :D

I love both of you! You are the only people I know that can use "mellifluous" and "portmanteau" in the same sentence.

Thanks love. :)

When I was growing up I always got teased for using "big words." That's how my parents and grandparents talked; that's what I learned. When I was a teenager I was self-conscious about it. When I found this forum, I felt like I had finally connected with people (well for the first time since college) who loved words as much as I do.

There was a young lass from St. Lou,
who had to pick one dildo from two;
They both were quite nice,
but she asked for advice;
"Tell me, is this a Red state or Blue?"

:cool:
