I couldn't find any other appropraite place to put this, so my apologies.

I want to add a picture to the profile, but it's much too large to fit into the space. How can I save or edit the picture to be more manageable? I hate to get technical in a place of art and writing, but if anyone has ideas, I would appreciate them.

Thanks.

The maximum size of your custom image is 250 by 250 pixels or 29.3 KB (whichever is smaller). Use a program like Photoshop to reduce the picture to the required size. Save the image some where you can find it on you computer and use the 'browse' option to find the file on your computer when you wish to upload the image to Lit Profile.

Hope that helps.

I use Irfanview to resize. Free program, easy to use. I thought it was 150 x 150.

MS Paint is the free one that comes with Windows. Save the picture on your computer, open it in Paint, select all and then go to Image -> Resize/Skew.

You'll have to do a little bit of trial and error with resizing, trying it on Lit, then resizing again, but it's the quickest way of doing it without needing to install any other software.

Always save your resized image under a new name, otherwise you will lose the original. Always make sure you save it as a jpg file. Bmp files are a hazard to the internet.
