So, Obama was right about Pakistan

It seems that Obama got it right about sending troops into Pakistan if needed to operate against terrorists.

McCain bashed him for it but now it seems that Bush approved the very same thing.

Personally, I think it shows that like most of the other spin coming out of the republican camp, Obama is more than capable of protecting this country by going after terrorists.

McCain has gotten thrown off the bus too many times. And he plays up his war veteran status far too often for my tastes.

I think it shows that military service is not a prerequisite for President.

The right wants to scare America into thinking he won't protect this country as they did repeatedly during the RNC.

Joe Biden talks tough

Donald Lambro and David Frum report the return of a national security gap between the Democrats and Republicans according to a Democratic focus group study by pollster Stan Greenberg. "Old doubts about Democrats on security, after diminishing during 2006-2007, have begun to re-emerge," says a memo on the study, conducted for Third Way, a centrist Democratic:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: advocacy group.

NOTE: NOT A RW GROUP, a DUMOH! GROUP SAYS THIS

Among the study's chief findings, quoted by Lambro: "Voters see Democrats as indecisive in the face of threats and afraid to use force to protect the nation; they see Democrats insufficiently supportive of the military; and they see Democrats following public opinion, rather than adhering to a consistent principled view of the country's best interests." Lambro also notes the study's findings that Republicans now lead by 14 points on which party will better handle national security issues, and by 15 points on who would better combat terrorism.

Perhaps these findings explain Joe Biden's uncharacteristic commitment to the use of force yesterday. In the same appearance at which Biden paid tribute to Hillary Clinton's possibly superior qualifications to be vice president, Biden discussed Republican attack ads. Referring to the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth campaign against John Kerry in 2004, Biden declared he’s not going to let that happen again: “Swiftboating is not going to work this time, and the reason it’s not is No. 1, I’m going to smack ‘em right square in the chops.”

He will BET UP those that talk in this country and let TERRORISTS free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TOUGH ASSHOLE

And all this time I had thought that Biden was just an extreme example of senatorial gasbaggery. But the man can also issue a threat that might scare off Pee-wee Herman

What are your facts?

Do you know if this was a joint operation or not?

Was this perchance a reachout for assets in the field to ensure a kill from an ally that used to be Pro-Taliban, pro-terror, like Momar Ghadaffi was (and, what do you know Dr. Rice, another woman trashed by the Left along with Geraldine, Hillary, and Sarah, was in Africa talking about the US leading the AU forces...)?

The fact that he also said there was no way we could prevail in Iraq and yet thinks if we pull the Russian gambit and just mindlessly pump troops into Afghanistan, we can prevail. He was also wrong in his response to Russia and arrived late to the wrong conclusion just as he did when he heard LIPSTCK and thought, what an excellent way to diminish Palin, by reducing her to a joke...

A mean, cruel joke that backfired, but then Eddie Haskel's shit always did...

What Obama doesn't realize is what our National Guard learned. "We thought we could help them learn to farm. We learned they are excellent farmers, they just lack the infrastructure to get goods to market." This same lack of infrastructure hinders large bodies of troops anywhere outside of Kabul and the main plain. They are also excellent soldiers, but Barack wouldn't know that. Neither would Joe.

Bye. DUN!

Where the hell have you been? We've just been through four elections in a row where the guy who didn't go to war beat the guy who did.

So Im on IGGY when you CANT ANSWER QUESTIONS CAUSE YOU ARE CAUGHT

and NOT ON IGGY other times:rolleyes:

You are a HIPPO CREEP!

kerry wasnt at war with the CONG, he was at war with the US!

I think that in this instance, Barack perhaps found the right words, even if he doesn't know why...

I don't know any Kenya Zero

Only a Black American born patriot running for President.

That's pretty idiotic, even coming from you.

I saw your thread where you're the middle-of-the road independent thinker who will vote against bad Democrats, something you post every election, but I digress, as usual.

I saw your five reasons to vote for Obama post. Every point was "I Believe."

It is appearant you do.

So, stop calling me stupid, because I'm not acting like it. I'm not pretending to be objective, they both suck, I'm sitting this one out, but you are looking like a shill with each passing day of watching your guy fuck up like it's amatuer night. Hillary would never had been dumb enough to make a lipstick joke. Obama is.

lavy had to race back to the forum, killermuffin had to race back, I've been here long enough to know, you guys are going to close ranks, bash Bush, bash McCain, bash Palin, and simply whistled Dixie as we present you with open, naked Democrat corruption in one Barney Frank. One Rezko. One Cari.

Oh hell, no. Obama said something that sounds correct! He's like Biden; he's always saying something... WHAT HAS HE DONE?

What has he done?

More Seriously, Aren't you a little concerned about this?

We're invading a nation in the midst of its own post-election turmoil that happens to be a nuclear power. Do we have any regard for their national sovereignty? How is the Pakistani government reacting to raids over the border? From what little I can see, it decidedly negative: The commander of Pakistan's armed forces understood that and promises to fight back:

"The sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country will be defended at all cost and no external force is allowed to conduct operations inside Pakistan," (from the AP Article today according to Talking Points:

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/2008/09/pakistan_army_chief_criticizes.php

From what I gather Bush authorized these raids this July, but there's been very little press about it. If we are not careful, this can destabilize Pakistan and cause chaos throughout Central Asia as other nations react to it. But "all costs" is a little scary with a nuclear power.

Invading countries we are not at war with is always a problematic exercise. The consequences can outweigh the benefits.

What would Obama do, how would he handle the affairs of the nation?

Look no further than the Congress run by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.

Piss on the other guy and then piss and moan because he won’t cross the aisle and work with you on your terms.

You don't think zip.

You believe.

Do you do any reading? They just ended their turmoil with the election of an even MORE pro-American government.

Hell, THEY STORMED THE RED MOSQUE! Do they get ANY credit?
