Do your neighbours mind that you sit out there like that? I know I wouldn't if you were my neighbour!![]()
Breakfast suitable for vegetarians......:
Assorted pastries: Chocolate doughnuts, pecan twist, pain au raisin, cinnamon twirls, custard/almond slice - fruit: apples, bananas, strawberries, grapes, nectarines - multi-seed bread for toast (with jam, or marmalade or peanut butter or cheese) - yoghurt and/or strawberry or chocolate mousse - fruit juice - water.
All very yummy, and the pecan twist was particularly stickily, gorgeous, but I'd rather have a full english any day....*drool*. I just can't be arsed to cook it.
Mood is weird, people were talking to me today in town. I mean not the normal business people or the over 65 people, the ones who normally ignore me. One of them went so far as to tell me she could just listen to me all day she loves my accentAnd of all things I'm so unused to getting compliments right now I blushed like a stupid teenager
(4 years I've been here and our kids go to the same nursery and now she talks to me? Usually I say hi and I get the brush off.) I think there might have been some alien abductions last night in the storm *noddles*
oh i'm coming to your house for breakfast. yummmmm!

They've all just come to their senses, that's all![]()
I'm so sorry for your loss. *HUGS*Sad.
Last night my grandmother in law died. She went 93 years, and I knew her half of my life. She lived in the house with us, and was a great lady.
She was born when the Kaiser ruled Germany and Russia was ruled by the Tsar. The First World War had just started. She witnessed all that followed, and at the end of World War Two she fled on foot before the Russian Army, carrying her two small children. She was incredible.
She fighted for two weeks. Then, the last two days, she accepted her faith. She took her farewells, talked about seeing again all of those that are already gone from her family and those who had helped her fleeing before the Red Army. She had to get pain reducing medics, but she was at peace with herself in the end. Then she closed her eyes.
The house is very empty without her.
Sad.
