I just got off of a long stretch of 12 hour days, sleepless nights and I'm all excited about having a few days off. I probably won't even sleep today and I'm so jazzed and have been insomnia ridden anyway. So I'm a bit silly and I've had a few drinks but I'm very lucid and am just in a talky mood. :)

My poor wallet has been abused lately but thankfully I get paid on Thursday. :)

Ahhh, then the mortgage payment and some bills will take care of that.

It's a struggle but it was worth having to pinch the budget in order to get my new flat screed lcd tv and surround sound system. :)

But hurrah for payday and new furniture, I'm getting my new bed and mattress tomorrow. Is exciting, and my first large household purchase!

Yay!!!! Congrats!! I know that one of the more personal purchases you will ever make is your bed. It's where your lover holds you, where you sleep and dream and where these late night silly conversations that mean so much happen.

The bed is a safe haven at home and I hope that yours will wrap you up in sheets of linen and keep you safe and warm. :eek:

I'm sure it will, I've already ordered new sheets and am hoping they turn up in the mail tomorrow, but I probably won't get that lucky :)

But... I am very lucky to have two fucking awesome people to share the bed with once the sheets arrive..
