Even addictions have their stellar points, after all, if I'm moaning and masturbating on the phone, one of those god-awful telemarketers aren't going to get through to try to bilk me out of my money while never understanding the word no. Well, no need to fear any nasty diseases that way... and isn't that the joy of the digital world, it allows people to indulge in imagined 'perversions' without actually doing anything at all. Well sometimes the kindred spirits you do find don't live next door. So some things, such as tame phone conversations, can help put that fire out. Or stoke it, so you when you finally do put it out it's that much more satisfying. It feels good to... achieve things!

Yes, you make a good point Mr. Dune Dweller... sometimes kindred spirits are difficult to find. I guess under such circumstances it is prudent to take advantage of the closeness technology provides, even if it is still not the same as actually being there. But who know, wait long enough and technology might develop to the point where we can actually travel to faraway places and back again.... think of the possibilities then!
