Hi everybody (or whomever wanders in here)! I usually post over at the GB, but I've been tinkering around with some of my nekkid pics and wanted to post them here. The AmPics folks scare me a little, plus I could use tips and critiques from all you artsy fuckers.

I did this one tonight, though the picture was taken a few weeks ago. I take my own pics with a timer and a very basic digital camera (can't you tell ).

ETA: Dammit, I think I lost this pic for good. It might be saved to my old 'puter, but I'm too lazy to check right now. I came to replace all the images photobucket so cruelly deleted. This was NOT the original pic I posted here, but it's a more recent pic to replace it.

p.s. this was with my webcam, not the digital camera.

Hey there!

There's a lot of real potential in these, especially the oes were you adjusted teh color more so than tried to adjust the backgrounds.

The first one, there is something wrong with the stars being put in. It looks wrong giventhe butterfly window box and if you look just at your hip there is a spot where however you did it missed a spot and it looks like a lump on your hip :(

My personal favorite is the Mmmmmm, though the concave trapezoid over your mouth is a bit too busy and would be better if it were gone.

Thats just my 2 cents though. I do like the way you adjusted the colors and it has that kind of pop art feel to them.

Hi! Thanks. Yeah, this is me fiddling around, so I can use all the criticism you can dishout. I missed that spot on my hip in the first one (whoops). Hahaha. I almost failed kindergarten cause I couldn't draw a straight line, so I'm not surprised.

I like the Mmmm, too. I put the trapazoid there to somewhat shield my face, but yes, I agree. Maybe I'll fuck around with these a bit more.

Thanks a lot for your comments :rose:

Looking at the images in your sig line, I can see some of the influences and ideas you may be going for and I think you will get there sooner rather than later.

And one of the reasons I don't mess around with Photoshop as much as I would like to is my inability to use th lasso tool right and I end up making a right proper mess of some decent photos to start with.

Keep it up! ;)

I like numbers 1 and 3 a lot. Number 1 has a sweet, dreamy quality that's soothing. Number 3 works great with the yellow and has a 1940's very pin up quality to it. :rose:

Haha. Thanks, I have no idea what the lasso tool even does. A friend suggested I look up some free photoshop tutorials, but so far I've been too lazy.

Sweet - clearly, self absorption is a good thing.

Thanks :rose:

Thanks so much, lady. Those two are my favorites, too.

Hope you found your sock :D

Nice work. I like this and the first one the best, though I agree the background in the first one is a little distracting, or more likely, just doesn't seem to fit well. I look forward to seeing the progression though. :rose:

Catalina:catroar:

Thanks so much. I look forward to your input.

Yep, take more pics
I know squat about photography and art, I just like pics of pretty naked girls.
You definetly got that part covered, well, you could be a bit more nekkid:D

As a bit of a photography purist, I'd say stay away from too much color manipulation. That's too easy to do. Concentrate on composition, balance and expression. It's the last that makes your "accident" so good.

I like #2 ('mmmmmmm') and #3 (the accidental shot) best. #2 provides an odd intellectual challenge -- you've simplified and flattened the photo in some ways, but added clues (or at any rate shapes) that make me want to decipher it. #3 is attractive just because you've got a big smile.

yes, yes you do. The sooner the better.

Again, I'm slack. I have tons of pics, and even a couple I've started to tweak, but no follow through

Ha! I could. I'll work on that.

Danke :rose:

Expression! Yes, I get that.

Thanks, that's really sweet.
