I recently got a tablet and have been trying to transition from traditional art, which I am decent at, to Digital which... I am lacking at.
These are the first few pics that I have done. But I plan on doing many many more!

I wanted to try to do an orgasm progression comic... thing. Anyway, this is what came of it. And yeah, If you are not into chicks with dicks then I am sorry. They be sexy.

The wax picture hurts me on a psychological level, in a really good way Mine are smaller, but I can't help but feel a tug in my head to try it out, even if I think I'd hate it. It's really great work!

I don't get it. Why demean yourself? Why let computers take the credit? How many "digital artists" could actually go the other way, you might want to ask yourself?

I suppose you might want to do it just as a half-serious bit of distraction...

Thank you <<<3 And yeah, wax is painful. But BDSM candles melt at a much lower temp than just like normal candles, so... it is easier to deal with, doesn't cause actually burns, usually.
And from what I can tell from your profile, you seem pretty kinky. I recommend fetlife. Go to some of your local munches, make friends, eventually you will find someone who would want to pour wax all over you. That is what I did, and now I have experienced so many crazy and wonderful things!

Yeah, bahahaha, It do kinda look like that doesn't it. Maybe I should have gone with a blue candle or something... red is too much like blood. That being said, wax is hard for me to draw with traditional mediums. So I'll take the loss with my head held high.

I don't know many people who have exclusively done digital art their whole lives, but I will admit that they are not familiar with traditional techniques.

That being said, my friends and peers who do both. Are mind-blowingly good. It's like cross training. or something.
Plus, digital is where I want to be. Porn commissions, concept art, comics, graphic novels.
Digital is easier, you can erase anything at the push of a button. But I do not think it is lesser, and if it is, it is not a landslide.

I have more than a faint suspicion that the Louvre wouldn't be giving it space.

I know it's an opinion, but there are so many faults to the ideas you hang on to... trying to judge art by the tool it uses, it's a very myopic way to appreciate creativity. I hope you don't feel like using a digital writing for communication lesser than hand writing... Calligraphy doesn't not make ones idea lesser or better.

For me, going totally digital would be impossible, I need the framework of one of my pencil drawings scanned in first and then work on it digitally.

I thought the figure in this panel was decent enough so I saved it as a standalone.
