hi recently I've been studying the body and came across the pressure points and was thinking of making some kind of bondage outfit that would put pressure on these points to cause pain if you have any interest in helping me or thoughts and comments please post

Which pressure points are you talking about? Those that cause pain or those that cause pain and can damage the person being put in bondage?

One might be interesting. The other fool hearty. The difference is key IMO.

Be sure you know exactly what you are doing as you can cause serious and sometimes irreversible nerve damage. I actually use pressure points to relieve pain, not cause it...I seem to have a knack for knowing where to touch for various things which has been appreciated by F more than once or twice...he has the ability to remove pain through his hands (not pressure points, just absorbing the pain out of the body through his hands), so I am fortunate to be able to receive that from time to time, though he does it sparingly as opposed to everytime I have a twinge. It is fascinating.

Well now you've done it!

You made me want to meet you and F even more!

I didn't know that was even possible.

LOL, he sure surprised me. He had mentioned it before we met, along with some other incredible and a little spooky things that had happened with him, but I put it to the back of my mind. Not long after I moved here I had a really bad migraine and period cramps....to the point of tears which takes a lot for me to do...he didn't say anything except to order me to lay still and he just laid his hands on me. Silly me was so preoccupied with the pain, and had forgotten about his healing abilities he had mentioned, it didn't enter my head that was what he was doing. It was only later when I mentioned they had disappeared completely and I couldn't understand it that the penny dropped and I noticed how drained he looked. He has done it a few more times, but it is not often nor always, just when he chooses to do so. He is an amazing man I am sure I do not appreciate near enough sometimes.

Not a good idea. Seriously. Bondage is dangerous enough without mucking with pressure points. Anything that causes pain from compression is very likely to cause damage when compressed for extended periods of time.

My honest advice is to learn suspension from someone that knows what they're doing. You will learn enough on pain and nerves and pressure points to understand why this is not a good idea, and you will also learn how to tie in ways that cause pain safely. Or more safely.

Good advice from an expert rope man!

Wow I am so with Homburg on this...that sounds a little too dangerous. Good advice Homburg.

Yes.

Though there are a few fun ones that can be screwed with with no major harm, like one on the inner calf that only hurts when you're a woman on her period. It's neat stuff, but seriously, people go to postgraduate studies for this. Find one of these people, an acupuncturist who's kinked or something who can let you know if/when this would/might ever be appropriate.

Pressure point play with hands is another thing because you have more control and control over duration etc. I do not know jack about it really but the person I bottom to - well this is one form of sadism he really enjoys my reactions to. It's especially neat in public play because people wonder what the fuck my problem is if they don't know about what he's doing.

Wow that sounds interesting...hmm now I want to try it.

Fascinating idea but it doesn't seem very realistic. Are you talking about pressure points that pushed deeply with your hands cause the muscles to tense up and then relax?...rope is not the ideal route for hitting those spots because pressure is dispersed along it's length. For pressure point you need firm inward pressure at one specific point for a safe *read brief* period of time.

If you want to make rope painful there are other ways. 4mm. Untreated hemp. Jute. Suspension from a chest harness. Being strung up by one leg, or upside down from just a hip harness. Using bamboo rods or small stick to twist rope that is already on. The painful suspensions I've seen and been in were very dynamic, constantly changing position, moving the point of highest pressure every few minutes. Being lifted, swung around. It can't be maintained indefinately and in order to try any of this you should have a clear picture of nerve pathways, blood vessels, and be able to untie the pyl quickly should the need arise.
