i've had submissive\bondage fantasies since i can remember. Personally, "vanilla sex" was just too damn boring. Needed more intensity in my relationships.

I have never been a devotee of the DSM portion of the equation (formula? Whatever...) But the B (for bondage) is something I truly enjoy, and have since I was about 13 or 14 and began "experimenting" with (girl) friends and even some of my older sister's friends, anyone who'd allow it and was as curious as I. At that age we'd play Hide & Seek, with the twist that when I was "It" and found a likely partner I'd clamp one hand over her mouth and the other arm around her which I found immensely arousing, but didn't know where to go from there, haha! Actually, engaging in BDSM type activities requires great confidence, trust and strength of character. You don't see wimpy little nerds lining up for white water rafting.

A person goes from 'normal' into BDSM through whatever path his or her heart chooses. It's exactly the same way they go from 'normal' to gay or lesbian or science-fiction fan, or computer geek or GB troll or Picasso fan. A person is who and what they are, and how they get there depends entirely on THAT individual journey. There is more than one way to here from there. Some people will find common themes in their lives, other will not. You'll either "get it", or not. If you don't, enjoy your vanilla path.

well since i came from a happy household with 2 parents, a sister, toys out the whazoo, lots of loving pets, some good old fashion chores and physical labor and no physical or mental violence... I'd have to say it was more the fact that one day around the time i was 9, I wondered what it would be like to put my little butterfly hair clips on my nipples and clit.
