I am loving the Olympic trials

The fastest 200 meter runner in the world won't race because he tweaked a hamstring and fell (he set the anytime world record in the 100).

A 16 year old high school student competing in the women's 1500 meter - she didn't make it. This time.

A 37 year old woman trying to make the pole vault team for the fourth time.

The Olympics will be awesome!

Oh, and the Wimbledon men's final today was epic.

Shawn has a high perky quotient that quickly exceeds my threshold even though I just want to pinch her cheeks 'cause she's just so darn cute.

I haven't seen gymnastics yet. They've had swimming and track/field. This week, I think, and I shall watch out for the rubbery Nastia. Should she do something about her name?
