Rejected, Dejected, need my scribbling inspected

Hello all,

I was trying to write a story with a bit of scene setting and make it a bit sexy. It's been knocked back because of lack of use of quotations to denote speech (which is actually a misunderstanding, the bit they were referring to wasn't speech, but it showed that the the story was poorly written) and poor paragraph construction.

I'd really appreciate the use of a VE with the following criteria;

I'd prefer it if you were English rather than American, simply because I prefer the English spelling of words such as analyse.
There is not a lot of rude language in my prose, but there is a little and I don't want to offend anyone. Those who are not offended by context-specific crude language would be preferable.
I am open to any and all suggestions involving character, length, development etc.
Um, trying to think of other criteria, but I don't really have any, I don't think. My pm's are on so feel free to contact me here.

Why thank you kindly for the offer, ma'am. Yes, I'd be glad to take any and all help offered. I tend to find most people say "your story was lovely" even if I know it was complete rubbish, so truth would be nice.

I used to publish long ago as EnglishBard on here, but have long since lost my password and the email address it was linked to. Keeping with the English name it was important to me to have anglicised spelling. It doesn't stop me thinking most Americans are the greatest group of people on Earth. However my knowledge of Canadians is limited to ....well...um....you, I guess. No pressure...

I am willing to read too, I would use a British English spell checker on it too, so the spelling would be correct
