To a degree, we both also benefit from the fact that NC and Transexual catagories both seem to have a lot of bad writing A lot of the NC stuff I've seen is just ugly, mean writing from guys that seem to kind of dislike women, and a lot of the TS stuff is cross-dressing or sissy stuff, which is a much different genre than girl who has a dick (as wierd as that sounds).

I think the historic nature adds to the romance over nc feeling. Once you start stalking Lords and Ladies, it's tough to not start thinking in Jane Austen terms, and that tends to over-ride the NC aspects in one's mind's eye.

It's a good goal. I wrote Alisha specifically because almost all the TS stories sucked badly enough that I thought I could write something on my first effort that was better than 99.9% of them.
