i did have a good weekend

i got a lot of homework done, which made me feel great, because i hate when it piles up on me.

i also did some writing, which almost made me feel greater, because i hate how guilty all the emails make me feel

i thought i would finish last night and emailed shel to edit for me, but i didn't get done....if i don't it finished today then i won't be able to finish it until the end of the week because i have a test on wed, so i'm really really hoping i can finish today

I can't say I was that productive, but I had a most enjoyable weekend with family and friends. I finally got to meet my good friend's fiance for the first time, and that was awesome. They've been together quite a while, so I already felt like I knew him. lol

After I get out of here I'm headed to the lake to pick up my older dau. She's been there since Saturday. I hope to be on and off here for the rest of the morning, then I'm off til probably four or five tonight, if I get back on at all. lol

Believe me, I know all about trying to finish a story. I'm kind of in the same boat as you with Summer's End. It's going, but so slowly.

I've never talked to him before, but I've heard so much about him through my friend (she tells me everything about him and apparently tells him everything about me - lol) that didn't matter.

I'm pretty sure she'll be wiped! She and my dad were going out fishing for a few hours this morning. All that sun and wind, plus less sleep than normal, and I'm likely to have one cranky kid on my hands tonight.

oh yeah, absolutely. she loves being up there, and my parents love having her.

I know she's anxious to see her little sister and her friends, too. Little sis is anxious to have big sis back in the house, too. She slept in her bed the last two nights. it was so cute.

that's a good idea. sometimes it can be better to just tell the story outright, you know, especially with a short. Looking forward to it!
