...and apparently I'm not the only one who thinks so. People are uninstalling it in droves. You ought to see all the really unhappy comments people have left for Mozilla, explaining why they uninstalled it.

Just about every time I'd try to navigate to another site, I would get one of those "can't find the address" messages, and I'd have to hit refresh sometimes three or four times. Other sites it stripped all the pretty away from them, and made them hard as hell to navigate.

The bookmarks SUCKED.

I've gone back to v.2, and in the process, I've lost all my fucking bookmarks.

For those who hate it, you can still get v.2 here.

I haven't had a single problem with it. I didn't like the address bar so I down loaded an add-in that reverted it back to v2. And as for the stupid bookmark things that Mozilla added I just re-arranged them so they are at the bottom of the list.

I haven't installed it yet. Still running on 2.

I'm waiting for the bugs to get worked out first.

:)

I don't see any "stupid bookmark thingies" -- but I have had problems with it running the scripts that Blogger uses for editing the layout.

I don't think that'll be enough of a problem for me to downgrade to v2, though.

I haven't had any problems either. What didn't you like about bookmarks, you can customize it.

The only problem I had encountered was it putting bookmarks in the drop down of the address bar. Some kind soul posted the resolution to that, so now I am happy. Haven't had any other issues so far.

The adress bar is fugly. Otherwise I don't notice any differences.

The only problem I have had is Google spell check freezes up. Other than that I find it wonderful, much faster than FF2

It's still on the desktop, but I'm back to using Flock (Netscape's recommended successor) as my browser. I didn't like that address bar at all. When I have a little more time, I may go back and see if I can delete those things, but for now, I'll stick with the old one.

i can't really tell anything different about them. a few cosmetic differences and the dropdown from the address bar is different. It can be almost annoying if you click one of them and it reads you having clicked the "plugin faq" icon up there. But it really doesnt mean anything to me. I mean, there is the fact that i'm only computer literate in the barest sense.
