Gorgeous work as always!

I really like the cup-cake tie on viv (the complex tie and decoration in the front is really beautifull). It really looks good on her: her breast has just the right shape/size and her skin color is so lovely and makes the crimson rope stand out.

i couldnt share my pictures, i have to make my mark on this thread somehow...

but for those of you who didnt see my pictures (which i guess is everybody except Homburg and viv) i did a full suspension... the kind that i could move in. i spent a good while figuring out how to manipulate my position in the ropes and once i got the hang of it we got some pretty awsome pictures.

Yep, I attached the static main suspension line to a hip harness, then ran a dynamic sliding line from the chest harness to her ankle. This allowed her a lot of possible positions. MIS suspends well, and really enjoys flying.

Some really fantastic pics too. Good stuff.

Started doing a bit of rope work on Minxie, it's slow going cos I'm a little impatient (but not as impatient as Master, which is why I'm doing it, not him). She goes all subspace on me, which is nice.

It's cool because I have a practical "artistic" outlet that I actually enjoy. I love working with my hands and like making people happy (sometimes anyway). Even though I get to be somewhat artistic at work, I don't have the stress of expectations doing ropework, cos I know it's always appreciated.

And, get this, I still get to switch!

I'm awaiting my pretty flat braid black ropes and red lacing cord so I can try my hand at a beautiful rope corset, Minxie's a stunner as it is and looks great in a corset, can't wait.

But...... Homburg, can you suggest a link or instructions for a tie that is condusive to sex (sometimes it's extremely impractical to have ropes going everywhere, I'm sure you know).

Minxie really liked the look of the prostrate tie you did on Viv where she was face down, hands forward and had the handle coil across her butt. Was it hard? (and I'm refering to the tie in that question :D)

As you know, Homburg, I enjoy your ropeworks in terms of pictures, and as always, the cupcake ropeworks (for better use of words...) are wonderful, and thank you, Homburg and to viv for sharing with us.

Honestly, a lot of the restrictive stuff that is available in tutorial is not really conducive to sexual access. I made that tie that you referenced up whole cloth. Not sure I could make a tutorial on how to do it right this second.

If I am correct, Chanta Rose's book Bondage For Sex includes some discussion of ropework with sexual access in mind.

In my own case, I like crab and chicken ties. That tie that you are talking about is a crab tie on each leg (basically ties the calf to the thigh using a two-column tie) with the rope run between them, over the ass, keeping the legs spread. I added wrapping to that rope, and thus the handle was formed. The stuff done on the upper body was any sort of tie you'd like to immobilise the arms.

last night Master and i went out to a goth club and he tied me in a white rope corset. it looked awsome under the blacklights. due to a moment of urgency (not a medical or safety reason) it got cut off very shortly after we got home.

today i took the pieces and tied them together to do a fun tie on viv. except for the knots, it looked really nice. i was very proud of my handiwork.

Yup, I decided that it was just old nylon, and I didn't really feel like untying it, so I pulled out the Rescue Hook and sliced it off of her.

Hot.

There was another amusing moment last night where some pretty blonde thing came up and was talking to MIS about the corset. As we were driving away later, MIS grinned and said "You could totally have had her back there" :D

today i took the pieces and tied them together to do a fun tie on viv. except for the knots, it looked really nice. i was very proud of my handiwork.

Haven't been tying much lately, but I've been doing other stuff. Some people here might be able to appreciate this. Y'all have seen the hemp collars I made my gals, right? I wanted on something a bit more serious for formal (vanilla) wear in public, so I decided to work in silver. Anybody can buy a chain and make a necklace out of it. I decided to just get some sterling silver wire and weave necklaces out of it for them. Here's the result.

The second shot shows the bulk wire, and the necklace from a different angle. It's very flexible, and not terribly difficult. I like it anyway...

I'm planning on doing a necklace for my little girl. Is that just strands of the wire twisted together or links connected?

Did you have to solder them at all?

Did you get the sterling silver wire online?

I'm not sure if I'm going to do links and connect them together or try to twist the wire the way I want it.

Looks good though. Hopefully mine will look as good.

I've thought about it. The problem is selling these pieces at a rate that would be worthwhile means pricing them out of the reach of folks that might be interested in buying them.

If I felt I could make money with it, I would. Honestly, I'd probably be best off talking to folks that do make money with this...

Technically it could be done with one continuous wire, but it would be impractical. It is woven, not linked, and you use pieces in the 18"-24" range, then join more when you run out.

There is no solder. It is all woven or wrapped.

Yep, got the wire online. I really like artbeads.com

The weave I used is called "Viking weave". If you do a google search and poke around, you should be able to find some info. DIY Network has a good video on it, but I'm not really sure how to find that link. I think I found an article and the article had the link.
