Just out of curiosity, what is his favorite game? I have a six year old boy as well and I have been debating whether or not to get the Wii for him.

We play anything that has Mario in it. I started him on the original nintendo. I like Mario Galaxy. We also play Barnyard. He likes the sports games that came with it too. It's totally worth it.

My favorite little kid book is "The Puppy who Wanted a Boy." It is a lovely book. Otherwise, we like the Biscuit books. They are great for emerging readers.

I will have to check out that book. I'm always on the look out for good stuff to read to him. He's big into dogs though so most of them have been puppy related.
