This thread is for me and for you, whoever you are. It's a thread for people to state in the baldest terms possible what they hate, what they are enraged by, what they find utterly disgusting. It's more than a 'spit out your venom' thread. It's blatant. If you're faint-hearted, don't bother.

Here I go:

I am enraged at the fucking nazi cops in this region and the world over. I am enraged at the hypervigilence they demonstrate toward people of different colors, creeds, or ideologies on a daily basis under the auspices of trying to rat out the illegal elements of society. I am equally enraged at 'intellectuals' who sniff at the disenfranchised and act like they know something about the conditions under which said disenfranchisees live.

I am disgusted with people who think they understand something about me personally based on some perception they have developed which is completely biased and wrong. I am disgusted with people who think that because I'm a lesbian, I'm this way or that way. Disgusted with people who think they understand me because of something I said to them in a thread in some lost heap of shit in 2005.

I defy the government. I defy the nazi-neo-conservative fucks who try to dominate the world. I defy the money system. I defy it all. I defy racists. I defy people who think they know better than me. I defy anybody who dares to come up and pick a fight. I defy you.

People who open group homes or businesses to provide 'wrap-around service' wanting only to profiteer from 'privatization' of mental health services. Many of these folks have no idea what they are doing or getting into.

These threads are terrible when they're general. They're impossible to understand. No one really hates in the general. Hate is sharp and pointy. We hate and love in the specific and particular.

I'll tell you what I hate now, and maybe it's like something Lesbiaphrodite was talking about: Traffic cams. Unmanned cameras that take pictures of your car at an intersection and then send you an automatic ticket. They're all over Chicago now, at these special intersections that are set up to trap you, with obscure "Right Turn on Arrow Only" or "Left Lane Must Turn Left" notices hidden among a forest of signage. The fine is $100 and there's no appeal but to take a day off and go to traffic court downtown, and you lose anyhow. They also have them for speeding.

I understand that in France, where they're more civilized than we are, there's a strong citizens' resistance to these traffic cams and they blow them up with firecrackers.

In my town those cameras were taken down because the money wasn't going where the contract promised it would and the citizens were peeved. Personally, I like the idea of blowing them up.
