The pass around girl

She's got MOXY!

That is an interesting article. Now SHE lives and breathes the "To Thine Own Self Be True" docterine.

Good on her. :rose:

Slainte'.

I think it's kinda goofy-looking, but if she wants to throw her money away on it, then more power to her.

Not that I don't admire her for her spirit, but what will it all look like and say when she is 80?

Just saying.

I like the tattoos

I admire her for having them done. I don't have that level of confidence.

I would like to have those tats when I am 80, it would make the care assistants wonder about my past lol

But I wouldn't want to lose my job for sleeping with everyone, it make me wonder if I was a lousy shag and thats why I got the sack!

Why the scars on the side? Does anyone know?

I can't really admire anyone who takes no responsibility for the hurt she causes others.

That's my feeling on the matter. She admits that she's abused her SO, that her marriage is on the rocks, and that she's lost jobs because of having sex on the job (not for having sex with co-workers, but ON THE JOB). She's not an admirable person as far as I can tell.

I do feel sorry for her, though. She's right, as a woman it's near impossible to get help for a sex addiction, and it's not like she hasn't tried.

In typical "think with my kinky cock" fashion, I centered on this picture. Yes, the "fuck my whore ass" kind of caught my eye.:D

But, I looked and looked, but didn't find a "tie me up and punish my naughty behind" tat anywhere or "take me hard and make me into your fuck toy", either. And, it would have been tasteful to find "force me" or even "I belong to Master". Not even a simple "spank me, daddy, spank me" to be found. I must say I was disappointed. And she had such a good start with the other tats, too. Maybe she didn't have room?

What would that mean? Changing? She doesn't feel she can. Her wife can leave if it's a problem, no one's holding a gun to her head. People lead imperfect lives. I like that she's willing to be a poster girl for that fact.

Oh it's true her wife could leave.

I just am not into the, "I'm powerless" thing. That's bull IMO.

:rose:

I feel bad for the girl. Shes addicted, she is not healthy, some kind of chemistry in her brain is fucking her over... literally.

I don't even think the interviewer took her serious, and whats with the contact info at the bottom. And the STD free ad.

Sigh, poor girl, wrong time, wrong place, I doubt she will get the help she needs.

i THINK the scars might be from a tummy tuck.. they look like they go all the way around...

I don't know. On the surface it looks like self empowerment, owning her addiction and sticking 2 fingers up to convention. I think though, that there's an air of desperation to it all. She's trying too hard to build a box for herself and sit in it, tag a label (literally) to her ass and then act proud of it.

People with genuine sex addictions rarely have satisfying encounters with strangers, it just adds to their ongoing frustration for the most part, fuelling the desire for more empty, disappointing casual encounters.

She may think that she's taking positive action but I think this is the kind of thing that just looks like a solution and actually distracts her from getting help and dealing with her core issues and the problem at source.

Naturally, I reserve the right to be way off base.

I know it may not be a popular opinion, but she needs to find a good psychiatrist and get on some meds. I don't see that she has any alternative to stop what has become self-destructive behavior.

Now why would she want to do that as long as she can draw attention to herself and then turn around blame all her irresponsibility on her illness? ;)

ETA: This kind of thing is why I decided after getting my bachelor's that I couldn't continue on in the psychological field. Too many people use their "illnesses" as an excuse to treat other people like shit and act out in idiotic ways, and then they turn right around and say, "Oh, poor meeeeeeeeeeeeee. I'm not getting the help I soooooooo desperately need." If she'd spent the money she spent on those ugly-ass tattoos getting GOOD treatment, then that article need not ever have been written. And I know that's not going to be a popular opinion, but I've been around too many people who think their "illness" is some kind of crutch. Choice Theory/Reality Therapy, motherfuckers. Learn it, use it, own it.

*applauds*

I think we've taken 12 step and overcoming everything to the level of fetish, culturally.

Addiction is a terrible thing and a sad thing, but I think people are entitled to *their* thing. Whether that's sinking or swimming.

I'm not sure this is the answer, but it could be an entree into something else. If someone's an alcoholic and they write a book as a way to help cope with their lives no one's telling them shut up it's not healthy.

I agree to some extent. Overcome it or don't overcome it. That's up to you, as long as it's only yourself that you're hurting. It's just...I don't know. I don't condone the idea of claiming victimization as an excuse and a way to avoid responsibility for your own actions.

If a drunk driver kills someone in a wreck, they're put in jail and demonized in the public opinion. If someone with a sexual addiction leaves a path of destruction in her wake, we say cool? I'm not sure I agree with that.
