Those things scare me worse than Cape buffalo. Earthquakes I can handle, hurricanes I would run away from but tornados are the worst.

This is why I like where I live in New Jersey. No big Earth quakes, or tornadoes (they hit here and there every few years, but nothing big), hurricanes barely touch us, mud slides aren't common, forest fires are rare, blizzards too...

I consider it the least naturally disastered area in the word

Maryland's good that way, we've only really caught one hurricane in my lifetime, no one has landslides, we get a blizzard once in a blue moon, earthquakes are unheard of, there was a tornado in La Plata a few years back, but thats incredibly rare, we dont really get disaster level floods. Its pretty nice.

This is looking to be a bad year for tornadoes. It might be safe to say that we might get a few nasties this year in Alberta. We don't need another Pine Lake or Black Friday.
