Well, apparently Americans have the most creative and sexiest aphrodisiatics in the world, then - SOYLENT PASSION!Bremelonitide seems to have been shot down by the FDA because of concerns over what it can do to blood pressure. Last I heard, flibanserin was still in Stage III trials so there is yet hope . . .
Aphrodisiacs are a part of every culture's folklore. In Canada, there are the Malpeque oysters, in Mexico there's the avacado, in China, ginger for example. What are the aphrodisiacs in your country?
Interesting. Tell more, lesbiaphrodite. Which country does it come from and what are the specific aphrodisiatic qualities of Sandalwood??Learnt from a voodoo priestess about aphrodisiacs.....sandalwood oil (for olfactory use).
Chocolate. Oh, and assorted flavor packs at Spencer Gifts.

Is chocolate specifically an American aphrodisiac or just a yours?![]()
Absolut Liar.Booze. Were simple folks here.
Sandalwood trees have been cultivated since antiquity for their yellowish heartwood, and the aromatic oil obtained from the tree and roots. This semi parasitic tree burrows its roots into other trees and is slow growing, usually taking about 30 years for the heartwood to mature enough to extract the oil. Sandalwood trees are found throughout tropical Asia and South Pacific islands. The wood of the sandalwood tree has been used to build many ancient temples and is used.
Sandalwood the Aphrodisiac
In the 4000 years of recorded accounts of Sandalwood, its aphrodisiac properties are regularly noted. Sandalwood has a sensual, oriental scent, which is both pungent and musty and is used extensively in expensive perfumes and toiletries. Sandalwood produces something similar to androsterone, a male hormone secreted in the armpits as a sexual signal.
Another reason for the popularity of Sandalwood as an aphrodisiac is its universal appeal to men and women alike being neither too feminine nor too masculine. From experience, however, we note that men will bypass other soap scents and stock up on the sandalwood soap, while women comprise only 30% of our sandalwood sales leading to the conclusion that men may favor sandalwood even more than women. Sandalwood's deep, woody and exotic scent blends with bergamot, frankincense, geranium, jasmine, lavender, lemon, myrrh, neroli, rose and ylang ylang.
As a side note, wasn't chocolate actually introduced to the world by Hispanics? Not sure if it twas Mexicans or Spaniards.
TELL MORE, Cloudy. The Aztecs. They drank chocolate daily, although it wasn't the sweetened stuff we're used to at all.

I am making a saffron risotto tonight. Saffron is an aphrodisiac because the taste is absolutely unique and the price per gram, like awesome pot, is expensive. All aphrodisiacs have in common one thing: People can't quite pinpoint the feel in their mouth or the taste on their palate, and all aphrodisiacs are, if nothing else, as mysterious as the pussy.![]()

I've also read that ginger has a similar effect.

Depends how it's used.

Duh??? I had a Korean Colonel give me a ginseng tea, once, and then look knowingly at my (female) Korean driver. She was cute but that's as far as it ever got. Of course, if I had been forty . . .
