You're a bad boy, Box.

Oh - I got a scam today in a yahoo account that told me in no uncertain terms what to do to get my Stimulus Check. A link and everything - irs.gov and all.

Except it was sent to a sweetsubsarahh account. As far as I know, I don't have any SSN information connected to SSS.

They're crafty fuckers, these scammers.

What do you mean I'm a bad boy? I just posted an email I just got, that is obviously a con game of some kind, and I was wondering if anybody else had gotten one. I can't believe that anybody here would actually respond with the info they are asking for.

I've gotten emails about the stimulus check too. Crooks never rest, do they.

Hah! As if business of that nature would be conducted through e-mail.

Name, address, phone number and your name on a phony 3rd person credit card so the aggrieved merchants come after you for the goods that were 'stolen'.

It's sure could fool some folks tho. :(

I meant you were a bad boy to incur the wrath of spammers.

Bad joke, that.

:)

Oh, I constantly get emails from spammers and scammers. I probably average about two per day, from Nigeria or Cameroon or some other Third World place. I have a couple of email addresses and sometimes I get the same scam in more than one.

Hah! Come the day when we finally file our taxes, after at least one extension, there will be no "stimulus check". We make too damned much . . . or at least she does. Me, I just spend it.

We get them all the time, at least 3 a day. We share his email for most things so i see them and tell him about them. We get alot of laughs when I bother to open them.

I have to admit, not gotten that one yet, though tons about a lottery, and the dead family that had so much stashed away and no next of kin. Nbot to mention the daughter of a dignitary that was killed in a civil war in a few african countries. They always go overboard on the sob story, and what you need to tell them.

Not to mention a rather interesting one. An email addressed to your email address, that says your great friend or long lost relative has recently died and left their estate to you. If you would only tell us your full name, address occupation social security number and sex we shall send you an airline ticket to come and purview your castle.

I get them but they go in the spam bucket, which is kinda like a bit bucket only bigger. Then the spam bucket gets dumped every so often and we start all over.

:D

I think everybody gets them. :(Scam emails have become something of a joke by now. :cool:I wonder if anybody ever actually answere one of them.

Oh, we got Phishing, my friend.
With a capital Ph and that rhymes with f.
And that stands for fool.

I just checked Fag-Ash Lil's email account.

She had 157 spam emails including about 30 phishing.

She doesn't need a larger pen-nis, nor ROL-Lex watches.
