My semester doesn't officially end until Friday, and my graduation is the following week, but since I've just turned in my very last piece of homework and I won't be able to cross the stage to graduate, I'm as good as done right now.

I'm a college graduate! :D

It's taken over a dozen years since I took my first college class. In total, I've attended three colleges. In the past three years of continued study, I've lived in three states, moved a total of six times, survived a hurricane, dealt with a horrible depression, raised three kids on my own, and done countless other things I can't think of now. And still, I'm graduating with honors. I'm super proud of myself.

Since life has a way of hitting you in the head when you least expect it, my graduation celebration is going to be delayed (or, more likely, cancelled). So, I'm hoping you will celebrate with me here. I'm more than happy to get lots of praise and congratulations. :D

Just don't ask me what I'm going to do now because I don't know!

Congratulations!

I remember feeling very lost right after I graduated - that "what the hell do I do now?" feeling. You'll figure it out.

(Spawn graduates from high school on the 17th. My babies are growing up :( )

Welcome to the working world :rose:

And a good job, well done.

I hope this doesn't come across as patronising or condescending - but I am so impressed by your achievements. I struggled hard enough to finish my degree and I was free of dependents and had all the support in the world. Knowing something of your problems I am in awe that you managed to complete this. The very best congratulations. You should be immensely proud of yourself and I hope this qualification brings all sorts of great new things to your life.

No fucking way are we going to cancel your celebration. Not going to happen. And if you suggest it again, I might have to come home and pour something cold down the front of your shirt. And maybe the back of it, too. Postponing is likely, canceling is impossible. So there. :p

Now, on to bigger and better things.

Soph, I'm so proud of you and so inspired by you. You have had a doozy of a time during school, and you never quit. Not only are you graduating, but you're graduating with honors. I'm so lucky to have you as a friend and a member of my family. Thank you thank you thank you for letting me call you on the phone a couple of years ago while I made dinner for my kids. My life has been infinitely enriched and blessed by your presence in it.

I love you, good friend.

Congrats on graduating... :) It is definately something to be proud of. Hell just graduating is something to be proud of... graduating with Honors in the face of hellish circumstances and obstacles... now that is nothing short of Really fucking outstanding. :-D

Congrats.

Thanks to everyone for the congratulations. It means alot to me to be able to share my accomplishment with my family here at lit. I've had you with me on the journey, so it really does seem right to me to share it with you at the end. :)

And L, this made me teary. I love you, too.

Video tape that please? ;)

Congratulations, lass.
Quite an achievement with all that's happened.

I like to understate things.:D

Many congratulations to you. I'm struggling myself to graduate, so I know how difficult it can be to finish school, especially the longer it takes to get there. Well played. May you meet your future goals with the same tenacity that you met this one.

I figured you'd go to Disneyland. ;)

Seriously, congratulations! I know how hard it can be to finish school when you've got so much other stuff going on, but it's well worth it in the end. *hugs*
