I have always been intrigued by exploring the secret fantasies of the women in
my life. There is no such thing as a typical woman. As you read the Lit threads
you find woman who love anal and those who would never try it. Those who love “big” men and those who could care less. Those who love their man to do them orally and those who think it is dirty. Those who love to suck their men, and those who had bad experiences doing it.

So, I think a story idea would be to put together an anthology of short stories each one centering on a different like and dislike -- perhaps why they like or dislike -- and maybe if they would like to change it. Or perhaps it is an impediment in their relationship with men.

What do you think?

Sounds good, but depending on the number of women we're talking about, it could be quite a number of stories.

That would be an easy problem to overcome.

For me the hard part is getting started -- outlining what the story is about -- sketch out the women and the men and their backgrounds -- I would like to take the reader to the edge and then let the reader fill in the blanks -- then continue on. We all know the physiology of men and women and how they have intercourse and the details of foreplay and toys etc.,etc, so let the reader use theri imagination. I like the planning of the first weekend trip to the mountains to a cabin nestled in the pines. what is she thinking? what will she take? what will she wear?

The secret fantasies of various women could be a strong theme for a published collection of short stories, but I wonder who the audience would be. If they dealt mainly with the problems women had when their fantasies weren't compatible with reality, or the journeys they went through to bring their fantasies to actualization, that would probably actually count as women's fiction (and not necessarily erotica). And there would be no particular reason to include a male character who knows the woman. But if the focus is instead on a man who knows a woman finding out about her fantasy, or his feelings about not knowing what her fantasy is, that would be men's fiction (and again, not necessarily erotica). Or a third option is that the focus of all the stories would be a romance between the man and the woman and how her fantasies impacted it - that has the problem that romance is hard to do in a short format and that you would restrict the women's fantasies to only those compatible with her relationship with the man and a happy ending for them.

You could have a male psychiatrist (or someone like that) listening to all those women, hear their stories as they tell them to this man.

Gret suggestion -- I like it a lot. This would be a great way to continue on.

This reminds me...

A long time ago I was a Guinea pig for male birth control. While most of the experiment was physiological part was psychological. I had to maintain a diary of my sexual thoughts and deeds and undergo testing at various times before during and after the drug phase. The administers of most of my psychological tests were attractive, young, female grad students. One visit found my wife and I on a dark floor alone with this pretty administrator that kept squirming in her seat (nearer the end of the trials) and, near the end and as soon as my wife left for a potty break, finally got the guts to ask me about my diary entry style.

I had altered the format given and freely added commentary. The daily diary sheets given us were repetitive and seemed simplistic, not inclusive and not prepared to accompany the physical portion (like during the periods we weren’t allowed to cum to save for sperm count samplings). I was brutally honest in my diary and it obviously got to her. I could smell her (lower) sent as we spoke and I'm sure it embarrassed her. If my wife hadn’t come with me I would not have been the least bit surprised if the girl tried something. Even though she was the budding sex psycho PhD I'm pretty darn sure she didn't wait to get home to scratch that itch of hers after we left.

A long story shortened; perhaps have our writer be a psychology grad student working on a new controlled female study. These studies are real, current and on going and renders a realistic way of getting people to open up. I recommend a female Psychology Grad student as they are in the highest numbers and generally women are more inclined to admit the deepest secrets to fellow women strangers that are in positions were they won’t tell anyone else.

This is another great idea -- I was a lab assistant for a psych major in college and did all kinds of goofy stuff for his experiments -- but taking part of a study
and hearing all of the womens stories would be a lot of fun!
