My last storu which was designed to provoke produces heaps and heaps of comments which most would say was good. but 50% were from anon people who had accounts set up this month, ie Moles!

Now I am a man of principle. If I like something I tell the author. If I hate it I tell the author.
These just set up personas are a dirth upon LIT!

If I cannot get real feedback to my stories then I cannot write to your pleasure and these moles just confuse and destroy talent because tyhey can!

OK. First off I should say I judge stories on how arousing I find them. I don't read Lit stories expecting great literature.

The premiss is exciting and as someone who likes bondage as far as I'm concerned it's a good start. But (there is always a but!) I found the dialogue both confusing and stilted. It read more like stage directions as well so I didn't get the experience of mounting arousal in either party.

I just felt too detached reading it to get turned on despite it being a scenario that would normally encourage to shove my fingers down my knickers.

You asked for people to vote your story with a zero but I never ever give zeros (OK, I have once but that was exceptional). I'd like the writing tightened up, I'd like more feeling in the dialogue and I'd also like more description. I want to know what it feels like to actually be there, the smells of her arousal, beads of perspiration, how the hairs on her inner thigh goosebumped when he touches her. That kind of stuff. Do that on the next chapter and I'll vote.

how do you know if an anonymous voter has only just set up an account and why would they do so just to wreck your score?

Hey Ron--has it occurred to you that you're not really in a position to make demands, here?

There's another demanding and arrogant asshole who started a thread recently, insisting that we provide feedback. Turns out that English wasn't his first language, but even after making allowances for that fact, he was an arrogant asshole. And the folks here ripped him a new asshole.

Look around the feedback forum. You'll find thread titles that contain words like "Requested," "Desired," "Asking," and "Please." There's even a "Shameless Grovel for Feedback" thread!

Now, why do you suppose that is? Could it be that coming across as respectful, pleasant, and courteous works the hell of a lot better than being a demanding and arrogant asshole?

If you really want feedback, you'll start by making a heartfelt apology for your posts and your attitude thus far, and you'll humbly request that folks read your story, provide feedback, and vote (if they feel like it). And, you'll add, "Thank you."

If, after reading this, you still can't be bothered to act like a civilized human being, then fuck off. You're one of thousands who post stories on Lit, and so far, you're a legend in your own mind... but no one else's.

Didn't feel hooked by either your first or last story. Needs a bit more punch to get people to scroll down to the bottom of the screen IMHO.

I think there were comments on another thread on how lengthy author introductions are a surefire way to get people to hit the back button. Branching the series into separate master and slave perspectives sounds an interesting premise, but I'd rather have read the stories and figured out on my own that they were connected rather than seeing lengthy 'orders' in the initial introduction and then deciding not to read them at all.

You might want to try dialing the ego back.
