OK seeing we are now looking at a fair bit of interest in the 2008 Sydney G&G it's time to try to set a few plans in place.

We are looking to hold the Saturday night meet at the Ramsgate RSL which we have used for the last few years.

Well I am typing this on my new laptop which I finally bought today....I had the other one for a mere 8 months before a coffee spill killed it

Have to send away for the $150 cash back thingy which will pay for the extended warranty and part cost of the wireless mouse I got seeing Gil has appropriated the other one for his PC I hate the touchpad it gives me RSI

Some things coffee just doesn't keep up & laptops just die. specially when they are sitting flat on the table top.

We just have to work out how to laod some stuff & things will be back to normal for BANDIT on the lap top.

Hi Aussie's,
This might seem pretty random in the context of this seemingly tight-nit community that's going on here, but I just feel the need to vent tonight - not necessarily looking for a response (but not not looking either) but just need to blurt something (anything) out.

All seems to be going wrong lately - not in any earth shattering way, just a slow grind downward. i use to come by here off and on - never in a really consistent way but off and on nonetheless - and I've been an ongoing voyuer of these conversations and so wanted to be a part - even fantasised about meeting people in real life (you know who you are (well some of you do)). Anyway, I'm getting that urge again, and maybe I'll follow through more this time. Maybe it will give things more meaning. Excitement.

Sorry to interrupt - just needed to get something out - hopefully I'll be able to offer something more constructive in the future.

We've always had a great time at the Sydney meets. There have been others in Melbourne and Perth which we were unable to travel to, but by all accounts a fun time was had by all
