The last Internet friend that came to my house is still in my freezer. I'll need to make room before you visit.

Something other than a cork.

When are you gonna come visit?

Soonish. After all this wedding stuff is over and after I've earned some vacation time and can make a 4 day weekend out of it or something (see the family, etc).

Oh, btw...I got talked into singing Easter Sunday spur of the moment... kinda crazy. I'll have to tell you about it sometime.

I'm off to bed... peace out, homies! :p (yeah, you can tell I'm tired)

No. Too many crazy people out there who sometimes want to do crazy things to people.

You have a PM.

My first response was NO!

honestly....we've been doing this how many years?

Between us we've met a few hundred Litsters probably.

I can think of a few off the top of my head who SEEMED okay on the boards and in PMs etc and went right into the "Psycho" file upon meeting.

I know you can too.

Do you REALLY want a potential Psycho knowing where you live?

I didn't think so.

Only if I owned a bar establishment that I also lived at.

:D

Everyone welcome, ladies night is every night of the week.

:p

I can only think of one litster who I'd happily invite to my house for a first time meeting. I think I'd meet any litster (bar the one) on neutral ground first, post count or no post count.

What if I told you they had been in my house many times and were safe?

If this is just some round-about way of not inviting me over, you can stop. I think the sexual tension is better from a distance anyway.

(I voted llama, who wouldn't).

Would you invite a Litster (one that had very few posts and almost no "board history") to your home for a first time meeting?

no,
just to see the look on their face after the long journey they made.

Honestly? I don't know you that well, so I don't think that would change my mind.

Also, I think it's much easier to meet people on neutral territory, it's not all about safety but enjoyment and putting people at their ease, too.

Fine. I see how it is...

usually best to err on the side of caution.

No is my immediate answer. Largely because you haven't had the opportunity to get to know this person through their posts, and being that he/she doesn't have much of a history it's hard for other Litsters to vouch for them.

What she said.

Mewfie and Squealie have been invited as house guests. Anyone else? I'll meet at Starbucks and that's it!
