I just joined today and my had is full of FAQ's, file formats, storylines. But, I just wanted to say Hallo. I do have my first story, BDSM category and still can't figure how to access VE's specializing in BDSM.

You already have, when you made this post. It probably wouldn't hurt to give a few specifics about what you're seeking: e.g. copy/line/content editing, approximate length, whether you're looking for someone to edit a single story or an ongoing body or work, etc. Additionally, it would be much easier for prospective eds. to contact you if you switched on your PM function, set up a semi-anonymous e-mail account. or otherwise gave some contact information.

Good luck. Someone will probably step up soon.

Welcome. You have made a good start. The only other indication editors usually like to see in a request is the length of the story, preferably in words.

You might get a better response if you switch on your Private Messages. Go to User CP (top left of this page) then click on Edit Options (in the left hand column) and then tick Enable Private Messaging in the second box down. Finally click Save Changes at the bottom of that page.

Quite a number of us use PMs to respond to editing requests.

A few "hints for newbies"

1. Weird Harold knows everything there is to know about the mechanics of this site.
2. SR71plt thinks (s)he knows everything about everything but can't spell, and is often wrong. If you point out an error to her(him) then you will be attacked viciously.
3. Genuine problems should be referred to "Laurel" for stories and "Manu" for the web site by PM, and not by email.
4. There are more complaints about the official VE programme than a few. Most people ignore it nowadays as there is no filter for defunct entries.

Good luck with your writing.
