I don't have dreams like that (mine tend to be frightening, mostly culminating with people giving chase and trying to murder me, not to be grotesque), but I wish I did.

Eeek, the chase dreams are scary. When I have scary dreams, the worst part is usually that I want to scream, but can't.

How about happy dreams? I always like a good snuggle dream. Or a smutty one.

I've been writing the same "next story" for lit for more than a year, one painful sentence at a time. You've got my empathy

Best of luck breaking it! I know it's different for everyone, but I like to switch to different characters or invent new ones for awhile. Sometimes I just need some time thinking about a different story. But obviously this hasn't been hugely successful .
