Okay, so maybe not shocking, that was just to lure you here. Hey, it works for tabloids!
I find that in the evenings after I get home from work I am too distracted or busy to edit much. So I have made a strategic and helpful move. I simply bought a second laptop for home and moved my "dinosaur" to my work desk. I develop training for a living anyway and experience no guilt as others are taking smoke breaks to multitask and edit on the privately-owned laptop, and then again at lunch (I usually bring a sandwich).
Just good old American ingenuity at work.
And when I have no edits to work on I (very covertly) work on my own stories, but not much.
Does anyone else take "pleasure" to work?
