Obama will be under indictment by the time the Democratic National Convention kicks off.
 
It would never happen. Hillary would never want to be VP, and she wouldn't want a VP who outshone her. Obama wouldn't want to be VP under someone who would probably take her husband's advice over his.

Otherwise, a Clinton/Obama ticket (in that order) would be the best thing for the party.
 
When was the last time a nominee picked the runner-up as VP?
It just usually doesn't work that way. The VP is almost always someone who can pick up states that the nominee normally wouldn't.
 
Seriously, why would Obama take Clinton? The states she's strongest in (New York and California and other "blue" states) will vote for him anyway. I could see why she would want him as a running mate, because he appeals to some voters in "red" states, but not the reverse.
