My Arm For An Editor!!!

Hi,

I’m desperately looking for an editor of the next chapter of an all ready posted story and hopefully any other chapters/stories I decide to write. My previous editor fell through and I just get lost in the thousands of editors listed. I don’t know which to choose.

This story is turning out to be somewhat of a challenge to me as its my first attempt at writing a story in the gay male category. I’m a girl so I might get some things wrong, so without sounding to much like I’m picky, I’d like to find an editor that actually has some experience in the area, to help not just with the normal stuff, but can also give some technical advise.

I've run spelling and grammar checks, but I think it needs a little polish so I don’t make a complete fool of myself. Any one interested?

I find it interesting that you're writing what you are. Are women as turned on by gay-male as some men are by lesbian?

I've been writing in the incest cat lately (also have three chapters of a story pending in Reluctance) and have just BARELY touched upon the subject of male-male interaction in Family Fitness Night 12 which has been a real stretch for me (yet to be accepted).

Based on comments some women find that appealing.

Anyway, just sharing some thoughts. If you find yourself at your wit's end maybe I'd consider this as a last resort if your request sits there for days and days unanswered, but I've also taken on a new writer with a lengthy yarn.

And my acceptance would be conditional based on my personal tolerance.

Pick another lifeboat, but I won't let you drown.

Thanks, I'll still tough it out a couple more days though. Got a friend to read it to and he seemed quite please with the whole thing, but he loves me so he might by lying, lol. Anyway I was going to pick someone from the volunteer editor's list, but there are just to many, I have no idea as to who is available or not, so I spoke to another lit writer and she suggested here. I said all those things in the original post because I didn't want to surprise anyone.

Thank you for even concidering it, even as a last resort, but I have to say and I sincerly hope I don't offend you, I would rather try and find someone that could spend time with my story instead of giving it a once over. I'm sure most writers feel like me and their stories are their babies.

Thanks, I really hope so, cause I don't want to carry on writing the next chapter if I have to go back and fix a whole bunch of stuff first and change what I've written so far, seems like a waste of time to me. Anywahy enough rambling, I got work to do.

I actually need some one with some experience on the subject as I need help with the technical details so to speak. I don't want to write something that will be unrealistic as that would completely defeat the point of my story. Thanks for volunteering though, you have absolutely no idea what it means to me.

Sorry - I've never actually tried that, though I have, on two occasions, written about it, and I glossed over the details then, treating it as simple anal sex with the receiver no different from a female receiver.

It wasn't painful. The gay aspect was minimal and there was more of a story involved.
